film_stills they're currently featuring showgirls.
i happen to think the movie is hilariously perfect. overdone, offensive, lots of boobs and butts and basically just innocently trashy, which there's a distinct lack of these days. there are those that HATE it, too, you know. it's one of "those" movies, and was obviously made to be.
but i guess what's really puzzling to me about it is: was elizabeth berkeley always such a shitty actress? i don't remember her being quite as ...you know...mongoloidian on saved by the bell (not that that's any Shakespearean classic, or anything, but you know.) do you think she's so much worse in showgirls because she's TRYING to be something so much worse? do you think her acting just got worse over time (like, apparently, her judgment?) what the fuck?
